WHY “TRUCK ROADEO™”?

You know the scene.
Now come to the Roadeo.

The name comes straight from the Truck Roadeo™ sign behind Burt Reynolds in the famous hammock scene. Fifty years after the movie hit theatres, TwinStick Garage is bringing that scene—and the spirit of the movie—to life in Alberta.

That little sign sparked a big idea: a semi-truck gathering with the fun, friendship and road-trip spirit of Smokey and the Bandit. Come for the Bandit tribute, stay for a whole showground of big rigs, Friday Night Lights and family fun.

EXHIBITOR RULES

Good trucks.
Good neighbours.

A few ground rules keep the weekend safe and enjoyable for exhibitors, families and volunteers.

  1. Semi trucks only. Working, classic, custom and unfinished semis are welcome. Pickup entries are not accepted for 2027.
  2. Arrive from Friday at 9 AM. Check in before parking. Placement is first come, first served, under the direction of the parking crew. Do not queue on neighbouring roads before the grounds open.
  3. Pedestrians come first. Move at walking pace, follow the marshals and use a spotter when backing. During public hours, arrange any truck movement with the show crew.
  4. Keep it family friendly. No burnouts, reckless driving or excessive horn use. Respect other exhibitors, spectators and volunteers.
  5. Protect the park. Keep emergency lanes clear, manage fluid leaks, use waste bins and leave your space clean. Ask before accessing any closed heritage buildings or displays.
  6. Stay within your vendor space. Keep stock and displays inside your booked footprint and aisles clear. Secure canopies and arrange any power or oversized display needs with the organizer in advance.
